Bernadette Short Ireland-Québec
Bernadette Short came to Montreal from her native Dublin in early 1974 and soon became involved in teaching the Irish step dances she had learned while growing up. She is not only an Irish Dance Teacher but is also a qualified Adjudicator, much in demand across North America.

The Celtic Grace Dancers Québec
Celtic Grace is the name of the performing troupe of the Bernadette Short Dance School. They perform shows locally and internationally, satisfying the public desire for progressive Irish Dance created by the worldwide success of “Lord of the Dance” and “Riverdance”.

John Campbell Ireland (Armagh)
John Campbell is one of Ireland’s finest seanachie (traditional storyteller). He has represented Ireland with great success at many international festivals in Europe and America. He has been a featured storyteller at the Barbican Centre in London and at the Lincoln Center in New York.

Len Graham Ireland (Armagh)
Len Graham is one of Ireland’s best known collectors of traditional music. As a ballad singer he has performed at the Barbican Center in London, at the Lincoln Center in New York and throughout Europe. In 1992 he was the recipient of the Sean O’Boyle Cultural Traditions Award in recognition of his work in traditional music.

Pat Speight Ireland (Cork)
Pat Speight is a Gaelic and English speaking teller who is gaining renown both in and beyond Ireland. He has been featured at the Cape Clear Festival, as well as at the Barbican Center in London. In 2001, he was on stage at the National Storytelling Festival in Tennessee and performed recently in Toronto and Chicago.

Rosalyn Cohen Québec
Rosalyn Cohen is the Director of English events for this festival. She is a storyteller, workshop leader and writer. She has presented in Canada and abroad. She has hosted several storytelling specials on radio. Her focus is on wisdom tales that encourage resolution of problems without violence.

Mike Burns Ireland-Québec
Mike Burns is a beloved Irish storyteller who carries on the tradition of the seanachies in his family. He performs in English and French and recently presented at festivals in France and other European countries as well.
