The Plate from the Other World
And other stories from the Jewish tradition

Gidon Horowitz Gidon Horowitz   Israel-Germany
Storyteller, writer and Jungian analyst Gidon Horowitz's repertoire includes the Jewish hassidic tradition, the rich storytelling heritage of the Middle and Far-East, as well as the myriad myths and legends of Ireland, Scotland, Europe, Africa, Russia and North America.

A plate of yenne welt, from the other world, surpasses all treasures on earth and teaches the mightiest king an unforgettable lesson. Based on a motif from the Talmud, this story, together with tales from ancient Israel, Eastern Europe and the Sephardic Jews, makes up a program full of wisdom, humour and deep humanity.
